The central work of Gbadamosi’s exhibition is a list of names of writers, artists, musicians and others who have had an influence on his own work and thinking.

Raimi Gbadamosi is an artist, writer and curator, and professor of Fine Art at the University of the Witwatersrand. He received his doctorate from the Slade School of Fine Art, London. He is a member of the interdisciplinary research group, Afroeuropeans at the University of Leon, Spain, and of the Black Body group at Goldsmiths College, London. He is on the editorial boards of Third Text, Elastic Residence, London, and Relational, Bristol and has had numerous shows in South Africa and abroad.
